Genre: Lo-Fi, Singer-Songwriter, Indie, Experimental...
Label: Rack und Ruin (what else^^)

Finally, the next part of our little special. (I just wondered why I numbered consecutively every band as a part on its own instead of every part itself, but whatever…Sorry for that one^^)

The first artist, Lean Horse Marathon, is the musical project of Jeff Koplovitz. It´s kind of difficult to describe his music, because it features a mulitude of influences and styles. From Freak or Psychedelic Folk, Noise and Lo-Fi to more Experimental or even Dreampop/Shoegaze stuff. It seems to be a mixture of all. And every release itself sounds different. The first "LP1" for example is more lo-fi surf trashy stuff, whereas "Up on bomber mountain" has a more quietly lean-back-touch. The latest release, "On my own", seems to be the development and assemblage of both. Probably it´s more atmospheric with lots of acoustic guitar and reverb, but always with this significant noisy lo-fi note.
So here you go…

The next one is Minor Constellations. Once again a young man, Dean Engle.
It seems I have a penchant for those young men, I have to admit ;-)
Dean writes pop songs on ukulele with wonderful amusing texts about the never ending girl-boy-relationship story, amongst other things. I only uploaded the latest release from this year´s Valentine´s Day, the other ones you can get here.

And I don´t think I have to introduce the last artist of this part, Hungry Owl (once again^^), because you already know her At least I hope so. The new EP is lovely candy folk as usual!
