Raindear?
2008 - Sketches EP

Genre: Folktronica, Ambient, Electroacoustic
Label: Parallax Sounds
A special 9 track ep of lovely chilled out electroacoustic folktronica music.
Raindear? are 2 music artists "Sergei Dmitriev" and "Danila Holodkov" and they both live in Saint Petersburg in Russia. They both create mellow, chilled out, folk, ambient, electronic and acoustic music. Raindear?'s artworks of translucent pencil sketches reflects in the music, like a sort of storytelling. Compositions are so fragile and delicate as if Raindear? are afraid to disturb the listener once again. Raindear?'s musical influences are mainly Icelandic artists such as Sigur Ros, Amiina, Mum, and Seabear. (parallax sounds)
In addition to that i have to say, that raindear? were a musical duo, but now have split up and they are going different ways.
But nevertheless I just need to recommend you this because of this one great song i´m really into at the moment: Saharnaia Vata. I really like this kind of mesmerizing constant beat with the guitar melody, the noisy bleeps and of course the childhood memory xylophone :)
But there are also other good songs worth hearing on the EP, if you like this kind of ambient/folktronica stuff.
