The opener Always Be Behind sets a standard that Paul Bergmann and the Fair Moans can easily hold up. The whole album is recorded live to a 4-track tape recorder and thats in a pretty good quality.
Bergmann totally sounds like Lee Hazlewood or Scott Walker mixed with the dark folk of Timber Timbre and Ennio Morricones spaghetti western scores.
